MAY HALF TERM AT WARHAMMER READING: THE WAR FOR ARMAGEDDON
The industrial wastes of Armageddon are calling. As the hive spires choke under the shadow of the Ork invasion, the fate of a world hangs in the balance. Will you stand with the Steel Legion in desperate defence, or join the Great Waaagh! to crush the puny humans?
This May Half Term, the battle for Hive Tartarus begins!
The break is the perfect time to level up your hobby skills, reinforce your armies, and earn your Battle Honours amidst the ash wastes. Book your time slots and join us for a week of high-stakes creativity and strategic warfare.
Recruit Reinforcements:
Even the Commissars know you can’t win a planetary war alone. Bring a friend or family member to experience their first taste of Warhammer. You’ll lead them into an epic new hobby and earn a sticker toward your Call to Arms rewards.

WEEKDAY HOBBY SESSIONS: Perfect for all skill levels. Bookable Monday – Friday.

The Clean Cut: Learn how to use clippers to snip parts from the sprue safely without damaging your models and how to use a mould line remover to get rid of those pesky lines and make your models look professional.
🎨 PAINT:
Drybrushing Skills: A simple way to make metal armour or rocky bases pop. Perfect for beginners!
Battle Ready - The Contrast Method: Use Contrast paints to get your infantry table-ready in minutes.
📜 READ:
Lore Briefing: Read about Yarrick’s Return (40k) or the Dawnbringer Crusades (AoS) and share one fact with a staff member.
Know Your Rules: Look through your Combat Patrol or Spearhead rules to find your armies special abilities.
🎲 PLAY:
Learn to Play: We’ll walk you through your first Movement, Shooting, and Combat phases.
Saturday 30th May - CALL TO ARMS GRAND FINALE
The Call to Arms reaches its epic conclusion at Warhammer Reading on Saturday, 30 May! It’s your last chance to earn stickers by bringing friends and family to try Warhammer for the first time, or to celebrate with them during our all-day speed painting, Hero-led Monster Hunts, and 40k sabotage missions. Don’t miss our grand award ceremony at 4:30 PM to celebrate our community and claim your well-earned spoils!
Sunday 31st May 11am-2pm - THE BREACH AT HIVE TARTARUS: THE FINAL STAND
The war for Armageddon reaches its breaking point! Whether you’re defending the hive walls, leading the Great Waaagh!, or pursuing your own secret agenda, your forces are needed at the front lines.
