About this Event

Susan Isaac is a Manitoba-born folk singer/songwriter making music in Edmonton. A powerhouse vocalist and multi-instrumentaIist, Susan crafts enduring songs reflecting on themes of land, loss, home, belonging, and parenthood. While solidly situated in the folk genre characterized by her fingerstyle guitar and signature storytelling, Susan’s slow-cooked lyrics and melodies also display pop sensibilities and country leanings, with the occasional classic rock chorus thrown in for good measure!

0Stella is an Alt-Rock Irish Fusion force where gritty rock blends with Irish fiddle, bodhrán, and rebellious pop melodies; the point where sound, sustainability, and connection meet. Based in Edmonton, Alberta and inspired by PJ Harvey’s song, 'Oh, Stella,' the zero in her name celebrates the power of opposites coming together. With a deep connection to the natural world and 8,500 km of cycle touring under her belt, 0Stella’s about making an impact, not just noise.

Loud in the Pines is the Edmonton-based, indie-folk duo of musicians Kelin Flanagan (vocals, keys, banjo) and Spencer Taubner (vocals, guitar). Through seamless vocal harmonies and layered acoustic sounds, they explore themes of heartfelt connection set in the natural world. In June 2023, Loud in the Pines released their first EP, Bitter Bright, which was recorded and mixed in their home studio. In 2024, they received a major project grant from the Edmonton Arts Council for their first full-length record, Every Colour Left. The songs were recorded at Riverdale Recorders by Scott Franchuk and produced by Ben Plotnick (The Fretless, Oliver the Crow, Atwood Quartet). The album was nominated for a 2026 Canadian Folk Music Award (Producer of the Year, Ben Plotnick). The record features stories of love, connection, growth, and acceptance in soaring full-band arrangements, and was released on May 16, 2025.
