About the Event
Celebrate Independence Day weekend with competitive golf and a great cause at Sugar Valley Golf Club. The Battle Buddy Classic is a two-man scramble built around teamwork, camaraderie, and service. This patriotic event proudly benefits PGA HOPE and is a product of Doubles Golf.

For a fun Fourth of July twist, teams will play a Red, White & Blue tee format — 6 holes from each set of tees — creating variety, strategy, and a unique challenge throughout the round. Entry fee includes food after the round and beer throughout.

PGA HOPE is the flagship military program for the PGA REACH Southern Ohio Foundation designed to introduce golf to Veterans with disabilities to enhance their physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being. As many Veterans struggle with the transition back into civilian life, the game of golf delivers a new level of enjoyment and opportunity to be active in their local community.

Conditions of Play / Additional Information
🔹 Tee Boxes: Red / White / Blue rotation (6 holes each). Hole 1 players will play from the Red, Hole 2 White, and so on. Course will be set for play.
🔹 Dress Code: Sugar Valley maintains a traditional golf dress code (collared shirts required, no denim)
🔹 Weather Policy: Participants will be notified of any delays or reschedule options in the event of inclement weather
