The 2025 Baton of Hope Tour kicks off in BLACKPOOL! The Baton of Hope is the UK's biggest suicide awareness campaign and offers the chance for survivors and families bereaved by suicide the chance to stand side by side in solidarity, remembrance and hope. The tour offers;
– an opportunity to raise awareness for the biggest killer of people under the age of 35, the biggest killer of men under the age of 50 and the leading cause of death in the UK for 10-19 year olds
– the chance to create a lasting legacy of hope and support in Blackpool.
The tour will see its Baton bearers walk through Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre – stopping at a number of mini-hubs along the way.
Each hub will offer opportunities to discover local services that can offer support for mental health, wellness, physical health and more.
We hope you will join us on this poignant and vital day for Blackpool.
