Your local meetup is a great place to start your journey or continue learning, and meet diverse people to chat about life and how we can sustain it. Every job is a climate job, so come along and learn about how you can take action, as well as what is going on locally.
We welcome everyone, regardless of their experience or background. People Planet Pint is a space where everyone can feel comfortable learning about sustainability and sharing their ideas.
Afterall, creating a sustainable future requires connected communities. And what better way to bring everyone together than over a drink?
Prefer a Pastry to a Pint? Head along to ‘People Planet Pastry’! Equally relaxed and welcoming, they run during the day and offer an informal way to learn about what is going on locally in sustainability.
Your Volunteer Host
Polly Chappell works as a sustainability consultant in Bath, supporting a range of organisations to create and deliver aspirational sustainability and net zero strategies. After graduating with her Masters in Management and Sustainability at the University of Bath, she did not want to leave this beautiful city. She is passionate for sustainable living, nature, sports and wellbeing, and spends her spare time trail running, road cycling or open water swimming.
Steve Coates is a chartered engineer and programme manager. His personal interest is in how climate change and global security are intrinsically linked and whether you are working on a major government project, in the supply chain as a Small/Medium Enterprise or taking actions at home, we can all contribute to making the world a safer and more sustainable place to live. Steve lives in Newbridge, Bath, and spends his spare time dog walking, running and brewing his own craft beer.
