𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 | 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮: 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝗱𝘆 – 𝗕𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲În luna iunie suntem încântați să găzduim 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝗱𝘆 – 𝗕𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲, un atelier de dans care se bazează pe filozofia butoh. Sub îndrumarea artistei 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮, canoanele estetice vor fi chestionate și deconstruite pentru a permite o explorare viscerală a mișcării.

Acest atelier se adresează adulților amatori. Participarea se face în baza unei taxe de 200 de lei pentru fiecare zi de atelier. În cadrul atelierului 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝗱𝘆 – 𝗕𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 vei renunța la estetica convențională, corpul tău se va transforma și va fi ghidat de instincte. În timpul exercițiilor, vocea corpului tău va avea un rol important; vei putea observa sunetele tale interioare inaudibile. Vom examina mișcările născute din instincte și le vom dezvolta conștient pentru a experimenta diferite realități. Conținutul atelierului: respirația și transformarea ei… eliberarea vocii din gât… mersul… atingerea… mișcări fără început și fără sfârșit… bucla Möbius, spirale asimetrice… în interior există exteriorul – în exterior există interiorul… unul și celălalt se intersectează și se amestecă… învățarea transmisiilor și transformărilor…
𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮 a fost una dintre coregrafele și solistele Teatrului Național de Dans din Budapesta între 2003 și 2023 și a descoperit butoh în 2002, ca studentă a Carlottei Ikeda. Ulterior, a obținut bursa Uchida din partea Japan Foundation și a avut ocazia să petreacă perioade îndelungate la Kazuo Ohno Studio din Kamihoshikawa și în Tokyo, Japonia. În 2008 a avut o reprezentație de grup, iar în 2009 și 2011 a prezentat duetul intitulat „Translucent” împreună cu Yoshito Ohno, la Tokyo și la Budapesta. În 2010 a devenit colaboratoare apropiată a lui Ko Murobushi, iar împreună au lucrat la piesa „Leftover Shadow” la Paris, cu care au făcut turnee la Budapesta, Cracovia și Bratislava în 2010–2011. De atunci, a susținut numeroase spectacole și ateliere în întreaga lume, în peste 30 de țări. Directorul Arhivei Tatsumi Hijikata a declarat după premiera Bataritei din Tokyo, în 2018 : „Ești revoluționara Butoh-ului.”

This June, we are thrilled to host 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝗱𝘆 – 𝗕𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲, a dance workshop based on the philosophy of butoh. Under the guidance of 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮, aesthetic norms will be questioned and deconstructed to allow for a visceral exploration of movement.

In 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝗱𝘆 – 𝗕𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 you will get rid of the conventional aesthetics, your body will change and it will be directed by your instincts. During the exercises the voice of your body will have an important role, you will be able to observe your unhearable inner sounds. We will examine the movements arised from the instincts and develop them consciously in order to experience different realities. Content: Breath and its transformation.... freeing the voice of the gorge... walking... touch... movements without beginning and end... the Moebius Loop, asymmetrical spirals... in the inside there is the outside – in the outside there is the inside... one and the other cross each other and get mixed up... learning transmissions and transformations...
𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮 was one of the choreographers and soloists of the National Dance Theater in 2003 until 2023, met butoh as a student of Carlotta Ikeda in 2002. Later on she got the Uchida Fellowship from Japan Foundation and had chance to spend long term at the Kazuo Ohno Studio in Kamihoshikawa, and in Tokyo, Japan. In 2008 she had a group performance, in 2009 and in 2011 she had a duet performance titled „Translucent” with Yoshito Ohno in Tokyo and in Budapest. In 2010 she became a friend of Ko Murobushi and they started to work together on the piece titled „Leftover Shadow” in Paris and had a tour with it in Budapest, in Kraków, and in Bratislava in 2010-11. Since that she had several performances and workshop all over the world, already in 30 countries. The director of the Tatsumi Hijikata Archive said after Batarita's premier in Tokyo in 2018: “You are the revolutionary of Butoh."
