Clyde Bat Group (https://www.bats.org.uk/support-bats/bat-groups/scotland/clyde-bat-group) part of Bat Conservation Trust (https://www.bats.org.uk/) have offered to do another guided bat walk at Jenny’s Well on Friday 24th April. This is a great opportunity to see, and learn about, the lives of our only flying mammals.
Numbers will be limited, so please private message me with details of who wants to attend and I’ll confirm if places are available.
If you then can’t attend, let me know so that your place(s) can go to someone else.
Meeting time 20:10, around 30 minutes before sunset.
Meet at the container at the corner of Todholm Road and Whinhill Road https://maps.app.goo.gl/YBcwVz9GrvSL55dZ7
Children must be accompanied by an adult (it is recommended that children be age 7 or above).
Wear warm clothes and suitable footwear and bring a torch (mobile phone will do).
No dogs.
This event is weather dependent. If the conditions aren’t suitable (i.e. too wet, windy or cold) we will let you know.
Other events such as this normally charge £10 per person, and while we don't take any money it would be a great help if you could donate to support Bat Conservation: https://www.bats.org.uk/support-bats/donate
