🦇Night swim and bat walk ✨Our first night swim of the season is Friday 28th June!
We will meet at the pool at 21:15, and then walk to go and see Buckfastleigh’s population of Greater Horseshoe Bats.
Experts will be on hand to tell you about these fantastic animals, and then shortly after sunset, you’ll be able to observe several hundred bats as they start their night forage.
Then it’s a short walk back to the pool for a magical night swim in our lovely warm pool with water heated to 26°C. The pool area will be gently lit by twinkling lights and each swimmer will wear a coloured glow stick, creating a magics and fun event!
