Casting for Batboy: The Musical, from the writers of Legally Blonde and Heathers. Presented in Partnership by Cryptid Entertainment and StageQuest Theatrical Services.
*Ages provided are character ages. Actors of all AGES, RACES, GENDERS, AND BODY TYPES are strongly encouraged to audition for ALL roles.
*Auditions to be held at IF Theatre on October 27 with additional slots and callbacks on the 28.
5PM - 9PM (27th).
Callbacks will be from 6PM - 10PM. (28th)
*Proposed Rehearsals are Sundays - Thursdays, starting November 9th-13th with a Holiday hiatus until January 4th.
*Full Company Read/Sing through January 4th
*Rehearsals will be at Dance Kaleidoscope, from
6:30 - 9:30 Monday thru Thursday, and 5:00 - 8:30 on Sundays.
*Performance Dates: February 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, March 1st, 7, 8, 9
*Please bring 16-32 measures of at least one song. (Bring your audition book.) Rock or contemporary musical theater preferred. No Sondheim.
*A monologue is suggested, but not required. Also, if you'd like to come with a redneck/hillbilly joke, please do.
*Be prepared for possible cold readings, improv, as well as some movement auditions. And be comfortable being a hick.
*This is an ENSEMBLE show everyone in the cast is featured.
-There is physical contact for some characters. This production will have an intimacy coordinator.
