About this Event
Come and discover some of the nocturnal wonders of Epping Forest on our bat and moth night.
Join our guided bat walk, where we'll use detectors to hear these magical creatures as they fly and hunt around us. We may also catch a glimpse of them as they perform their areal acroBATics!
Enjoy a rare chance to see the butterfly’s secretive cousins – the moths: marvel at their exquisite patterns and identify some common species with the help of our education officer. We will also have a range of quizzes, games, crafts and a trail for different ages and interest levels. (If you have been before - we try to vary these!)
Your ticket includes a complimentary hot drink in our cosy Lodge, to complete your evening.
This is a family-friendly event, but solo adults will also enjoy the activities and are just as welcome. Adult tickets are cheaper because crafts are aimed at children.
How to book:

2) Add a car parking ticket if required (we encourage car sharing as spaces are limited).
