The Bastard Sons of Johnny Cash, led by songwriter Mark Stuart, have been a driving force in Americana and Alternative Country since 1995. Personally granted permission to use the name by Johnny Cash, Stuart has performed alongside legends like Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard and even recorded at Cash’s home.

Their debut album, Walk Alone (1999), established their signature sound, earning critical acclaim and a devoted grassroots following. With six albums to their name, the band remains committed to authenticity, originality, and the traditions of American roots music, blending respect for the past with a bold, independent vision.
