Ballroom Fit is a Registered NDIS Provider
Capacity Building Innovative Community Participation
Ballroom Fit empowers people with a disability to connect and thrive within our dance community. As a registered NDIS provider we create inclusive dance experiences that inspire confidence build skills and celebrate ability while nurturing belonging and meaningful relationships through the joy of dance.
One of the key Social and Community Participation activities we offer is Ability Dance – a specialised dance program designed for people with a range of physical learning and cognitive disabilities.
At Ballroom Fit we recognise that no two dancers are alike. That’s why our classes are thoughtfully adapted to suit each individual’s needs. We place a strong focus on engagement inclusion and stimulation ensuring that every dancer feels supported and encouraged to participate at their level. We aim to create a positive and uplifting environment where everyone can enjoy the benefits of movement to music.
The impact of our Ability Dance classes goes far beyond the dance floor. Our dancers experience increased self-confidence improved social interaction and a greater sense of belonging. Physically many develop a heightened awareness of posture balance coordination and fine motor skills — all of which can contribute to greater independence in daily life.
We offer both group dance classes and private lessons giving individuals and families the flexibility to choose what suits them best. We actively encourage support workers carers and family members to join in and share the experience alongside their clients and loved ones. The sense of connection and community created in our classes is a powerful part of what makes them so special.
To find out more we invite you to join our online community on the Ballroom Fit Private Facebook Group — a welcoming space where dancers families and support staff can connect stay updated and celebrate each other’s progress.
At Ballroom Fit we don’t just teach dance steps — we build confidence community and inclusion. Everyone is welcome on the dance floor.
