We are IN ACTION by holding a fundraising Great Garage Sale soon, Sat 17th and Sunday 18th January 8am to 4pm, 2 Healey Place, Gooseberry Hill. We are supporting our dear friend Iris Whitelock who is travelling to Ethiopia early in March. The funds will go towards her contribution to the work of the Catherine Hamlin Fistula Foundation hospitals. Their famous work is to heal the physical and psychological traumas caused by obstetric fistulas, The women receive surgical repair, counselling and rehabilitation. Vital midwifery training over four years is available to provide outreach services in remote districts.
