As a follow up to my solo bass concert at Dazzle on 3/6 (Ticket Link Below) I will be hosting a bass clinic and students showcase. The topic will be "Composing with Bass Tapping" and I will be discussing how the this wonderful technique can not only sound beautiful but can lead to writing music on the bass.
I will talk about how this can help with writing music as a solo artist or in a band. I will also give an overview of many of the techniques I use and will show how some of my students have taken these techniques and took them and crafted them in their own ways. I'm very excited for you guys to hear what they've come up with!
After the clinic all students and attendees are welcome to hang and jam at the Open Mic night hosted by my student and buddy Jordan Lovinger! Stick around!!!
