Who Should Attend?

All photographers are welcome but this event is geared toward intermediate and advanced level photographers who want to experience shooting high level basketball from the baseline of a court. Participants should be able to comfortably manually navigate their camera. Users should know how to control shutter speed, aperture and ISO. The gymnasium is known to be dimly lit with a mixture of lighting so comfort with high ISO, flicker control and white balance settings is a must.

What Should I Bring?

We recommend bringing an intermediate size lens and a wider shorter lens. Usually a 24-70mm F2.8 and a 70-200 F2.8 are the most commonly used lenses for basketball. The F2.8 aperture is a necessity and must be used due to gymnasium lighting.
