Rahola, afkomstig uit Lyon en actief binnen de Belgische jazzscene, bracht met zijn kwartet recent het album ๐…๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐Ž๐ง๐ž ๐๐š๐ญ๐ก ๐ญ๐จ ๐€๐ง๐จ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ซ uit bij ๐ˆ๐ ๐ฅ๐จ๐จ ๐‘๐ž๐œ๐จ๐ซ๐๐ฌ.
Samen met pianist ๐–๐š๐ฃ๐๐ข ๐‘๐ข๐š๐ก๐ข, saxofonist ๐Œ๐š๐ญ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐š๐ฌ ๐•๐š๐ง ๐๐ž๐ง ๐๐ซ๐š๐ง๐๐ž en drummer ๐๐ข๐ž๐ซ๐ซ๐ž ๐‡๐ฎ๐ซ๐ญ๐ฒ brengt hij een uitgebalanceerd repertoire van eigen composities, gekenmerkt door subtiliteit, maturiteit en een sterke collectieve samenhang.
Tijdens dit concert wordt het kwartet aangevuld met de Palestijnse vocaliste ๐’๐ก๐š๐ก๐ ๐€๐ฐ๐š๐ฐ๐๐š, die met haar interpretatie van teksten van ๐Œ๐š๐ก๐ฆ๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐ƒ๐š๐ซ๐ฐ๐ข๐ฌ๐ก een extra culturele dimensie toevoegt aan het programma.

On ๐…๐ซ๐ข๐๐š๐ฒ, ๐Œ๐š๐ฒ ๐Ÿ–, ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”, the quartet led by double bassist ๐๐š๐ฌ๐ข๐ฅ๐ž ๐‘๐š๐ก๐จ๐ฅ๐š will present the program ๐น๐‘Ÿ๐‘œ๐‘š ๐‘‚๐‘›๐‘’ ๐‘ƒ๐‘Ž๐‘กโ„Ž ๐‘ก๐‘œ ๐ด๐‘›๐‘œ๐‘กโ„Ž๐‘’๐‘Ÿ. Rahola, originally from Lyon and active in the Belgian jazz scene, recently released the album ๐…๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐Ž๐ง๐ž ๐๐š๐ญ๐ก ๐ญ๐จ ๐€๐ง๐จ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ซ with his quartet on ๐ˆ๐ ๐ฅ๐จ๐จ ๐‘๐ž๐œ๐จ๐ซ๐๐ฌ.
Together with pianist ๐–๐š๐ฃ๐๐ข ๐‘๐ข๐š๐ก๐ข, saxophonist ๐Œ๐š๐ญ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐š๐ฌ ๐•๐š๐ง ๐๐ž๐ง ๐๐ซ๐š๐ง๐๐ž, and drummer ๐๐ข๐ž๐ซ๐ซ๐ž ๐‡๐ฎ๐ซ๐ญ๐ฒ, he delivers a carefully balanced repertoire of original compositions, marked by subtlety, maturity, and strong collective cohesion.
