Info: A wound can be sustained from injury or created surgically and healed in a timely and orderly manner within the phases of wound healing. Not all wounds heal within the expected time frame.
Accurate wound assessment and appropriate treatment plans is crucial to facilitate wound healing process. You will learn:
1. Anatomy and Physiology of Skin.
2. Phases of Wound Healing.
3. Principles of wound cleansing.
4. Hands-on demonstration on performing wound dressing.
