About this Event
This course is following the Communicative Approach. Classes will be focused on achieving specific communicative goals, while building grammar skills. The course is structured in order to ensure the concept learned in the beginning are reinforced with each subsequent class, in order to enhance language retention. Homework will be assigned ad the end of each class. Homework completion is strongly advised as it’s proactive to a successful acquisition.
Week 1: Introduce yourself, greetings. We will explore also basic
grammar concepts such as phonetics, parts of the sentence ( article,
nouns, adjectives).
Week 2: Describe places, people, or things. Describe the place where you
live, you work. The city you live in, your family or friends. (verb to be,
and different usage of the same verb)
Week 3: Learn to ask and answer basic questions: who? what? where?
when? how? how much? Expanding vocabulary and conversational skills in
everyday situations.
Week 4: Numbers, Times, Dates. Where would you go without knowing
them? we got you covered! Part of conversational skills obviously include
knowing how to ask prices, time and dates.
Week 5: Expanding your communication skills by learning how to use the
present tense of regular verbs, and further vocabulary.
Days: Fridays (7 Sessions )
