Basic Home DIY - 3 Week Course

This 3 week course covers the essential tools and skills you will need to complete your home DIY projects!

• Week 1: How to plan your project, marking up and measuring, material choice and design basics. Tools used: hand saws, marking and measuring tools, sanders
• Week 2: Project assembly and finishing, including painting techniques, glues and finishes and how to use a drill. Tools used: drills, jigsaws, paint brushes and rollers
• Week 3: How to put up a shelf! We will teach you how to hang your project on the wall, the different fixings needed for each wall type and how to level off your project.

Throughout the course, you can also ask our teachers advice on any projects you are working on at home, and if useful bring them in on the last day of the course.

• Tues 3rd December, 6-8:30pm
