Basic Computer Course (On Demand)

This course will provide an introduction to using your computer and an overview of the most popular programs used in the workplace!

Participants will gain basic computer skills in this interactive online course while they learn how to access, create, save and manage documents, spreadsheets, emails, use Zoom , Microsoft Teams and the internet effectively.

Participants will also learn basic computer terminology and best practices for a productive and secure use of computer software and hardware.

Follow the steps to complete and receive credit for the Basic Computer Course online training:

1. Select the Register button on this screen.
2. Register for the course.
3. Return to this screen and select the following link: to access the Orientation online training.
4. On the Welcome screen, select Sign Up.
5. On the Create Account screen in the Name field, type your name.
6. In the Email field, type your city email address.
7. In the Password field, (create and) type a password.
8. Select the Sign Up button.
9. Complete the course.
10. If you need to log out, select the icon in the top right corner.
11. Select Log Out.

If you need to log in again, select Log In at the top of the Welcome screen.

• In the Email field, type your city email address.

• Select the Login button.
