Citrus County Utilities Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ Program is offering a free beekeeping workshop February 15, 2025. Saturday 9:00 am–12:00 pm. What type of bees do I want in my apiary? Honey bees are fascinating social creatures performing various tasks throughout their short lives to maintain a healthy colony. Queen health and good nutrition are essential for a successful hive. Essentials of hive pest management are critical to the new beekeeper. No live honeybees will be attending the workshop.
