-What I do when I get new deck of tarot cards-Tarot is one of the tools I use when I’m feeling confused and am not sure what to do next. Tarot helps me see what I’m not seeing so that I can make a decision and move forward.
About ten years ago when I first started using tarot, when I got a new deck the first thing I would do is go to the little book that came with the deck.
This is a great way to:
•get to know what the creator of the deck had in mind when they created the deck
•get to know each individual card
•immediately start with readings.
But tarot is a system. It is not just a random collection of individual cards. They come together as a whole unit.
In our April Basel Tarot Meetup I will share another way I get to know my tarot decks that looks at them as a whole system and not just a bunch of individual parts.
Join us on April 5 at 6 pm where we’ll gather in a small group to practice this and have time for questions and sharing our experiences with each other on the topic of: how we get to know our new decks.
