Wir haben vier der weltbesten Dudelsackspieler aus Schottland, Alasdair Henderson, Roddy MacLeod, Willie McCallum und Stuart Liddell, eingeladen, am 10. April 2026 an der “Basel Piping Championship” zu spielen. Gemeinsam mit Matthias Colombini aus Basel spielen sie einen 6/8 March, Piobaireachd, MSR (March, Strathspey und Reel Set), Slow Air, Hornpipe und Jig. Bewertet wird der Piobaireachd, MSR und Hornpipe & Jig von drei Legenden und renommiertesten Dudelsackspielern der Welt: Ian Duncan, Patricia und Murray Henderson.
Diese werden jeweils drei Preise pro Kategorie vergeben. Derjenige Competitor, der im Piobaireachd und dem MSR die beste Bewertung (mit einer Piobaireachd-Präferenz) erhält, wird zum Basel Piping Champion 2026 gekürt und gewinnt ein Wochenende im Dungallan Country House in Oban, Schottland.
We have invited four of the greatest Pipers from Scotland, Alasdair Henderson, Roddy MacLeod, Willie McCallum und Stuart Liddell, to compete in the “Basel Piping Championship” on the 10th April 2026. Together with Matthias Colombini from Baselthey will be performing a 6/8 March, Piobaireachd, MSR (March, Strathspey and Reel), Slow Air, Hornpipe and Jig.
The Piobaireachd, MSR und Hornpipe & Jig will be judged by three of the most distinguished Pipers: Ian Duncan, Patricia und Murray Henderson.
In each category there will be three prizes. The Competitor, who gets the highest amount of points (from placing in the Piobaireachd and MSR) will be crowned Basel Piping Champion 2026 and wins a Weekend stay at the Dungallan Country House in Oban, Scotland.
