What does it mean to leave a house—and what do we carry with us when we do? KCC presents Basabadol, directed by Arpan Garai, a striking contemporary Bengali play that explores identity, memory, and belonging through objects, silences, and stories that refuse easy answers. An old man, a nameless broker, and a house where even the bed and shoes speak—this is a world where the personal and the political quietly collide. Poetic, unsettling, and deeply human, Basabadol invites the audience to listen closely to what usually remains unheard.
