Join Forest Road Chocolate's Stephanie Porter for a two-hour adventure in chocolate. Build your knowledge and appreciation of chocolate through this combination of demonstration and hands-on experience:
Tempering basics: what it is, why it's critical, and how to get your chocolate in temper.
Bar making: every participant will design, decorate, and take home their own (perfectly tempered) custom milk or dark chocolate bar.
Bonbon demo: how to decorate, shell, fill, and cap bonbons ... then admire and taste the results.
Chocolate tasting: we'll taste two flights of chocolate and discuss differences in quality, cacao percentages, and flavour profiles.
Bring your creativity, questions, sense of fun — and an apron (or wear a shirt you don't mind getting chocolatey). We'll provide still and sparkling water. Optional hairnets will be available.
