Celebrating Friendship & Rebuilding TogetherThis year, our Barrio Fiesta 2024 isn’t just about coming together to celebrate Filipino American Heritage Month; it’s about standing united in the face of adversity. In light of the recent hurricanes Helene and Milton, which have deeply impacted our Gulf Coast community, we are reimagining this beloved event as a fundraiser to support relief efforts.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen communities come together to help those affected by the hurricanes. We’ve witnessed the power of friendship, resilience, and bayanihan (community spirit) — values that are at the heart of Barrio Fiesta. We believe there’s no better way to celebrate our culture than by extending a hand to those in need.
What to Expect:
Fundraising Activities – Get your hands on exclusive FAS merch and raffle tickets, with proceeds going to hurricane relief efforts.
Music, Dance, Food, and More – Enjoy live performances, food, and activities, all while making a difference.
Join us on October 26th, from 11 AM to 4 PM at the Centennial Park Recreation Center (1120 Centennial Blvd., Port Charlotte, FL) as we come together not just to celebrate, but to uplift our community. Let’s show that when times get tough, we rise up — together.
