Barrington 4th of July Parade Entry Registration - Saturday, July 4 @ 10AM

Join us for the Barrington 4th of July Parade! The parade steps off at 10AM on Saturday, July 4 down Main Street.

• Not-for-profit entry fee: $50
• Business entry fee: $150

General Parade Policies:

1. You may only HAND OUT candy or other items to spectators along the route. Violators are subject to having their items confiscated or removed from the Parade.

2. All Parade drivers must provide proof of a valid driver’s license upon request.

3. All Parade vehicles (2 vehicles MAX per entry) must provide proof of current automobile insurance upon request. Any vehicle not insured will not be allowed to participate in the Parade.

4. For safety reasons, trampolines are prohibited from the Parade.

5. No water guns or sprayers are permitted along the Parade route. All such items will be confiscated.

6. The height of an entry must not exceed 13 feet 6 inches (to avoid overhead wires).

7. The width of the entry must not exceed 8 feet 6 inches.

8. The overall length of the transporting vehicle and float should not exceed 65 feet in length. All floats should have a skirt to cover the wheels within the bounds of safety.

9. Entrants and all Parade participants must act at all times in accordance with Illinois statutes and all ordinances of the Village of Barrington.

10. Any request made by an officer, official, employee or agent of the Village of Barrington to comply with these policies must be obeyed at all times and refusal to obey such requests may result in the removal of entrants from the Parade.

11. The Village of Barrington assumes no responsibility or liability in the event of injury or accident.

12. All forms must be received by June 26, 2026 and applications are approved on a first-come first-served basis. In order to have a reasonable parade length, we reserve the right to limit the number of entrants and/or number of participants per entry.
