About this Event
The journey through pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period can be one of the most exciting and joyful times in a parent’s life, and also one of the most challenging. There is so much to learn and do that 40 weeks can feel like hardly enough time to prepare for such a significant event. Maybe you’ve heard about how doulas can help you prepare for an empowering birth experience or provide critical support during the postpartum period, but researching and hiring a doula is just one more thing on your to-do list. Or perhaps you’re still processing a previous birth or postpartum experience that has left you wondering if things could be different the next time around. Whether you're currently expecting, planning for the future, or just curious about the profession, this workshop is for you.
Join us on November 10th at 1:00pm for an informational workshop and interactive Q&A with Gina Valo, Barre3 Play Lounge Instructor, Certified Labor Doula, and owner of BirthingKind. We’ll start with 30 minutes of Barre3 signature movement led by our studio owner, Lauren Cook, including plenty of modifications for pregnant and postpartum guests. Partners, friends, and support people are welcome!
