About this Event
In recognition of April as Sarcoidosis Awareness Month, along with Studio Elevate fit, Jill will be leading a special donation-based barre class in memory of her mom, who courageously battled sarcoidosis for over 30 years.
Sarcoidosis is an inflammatory disease that causes tiny clusters of immune cells (called granulomas) to form in different organs of the body—most commonly the lungs and lymph nodes. These clusters can affect how organs function. While some people recover, many live with the disease for the rest of their lives, and currently there is no known cure.
This class is a way to honor Jill's mom's strength and resilience, bring awareness to a disease that many people have never heard of, and help support ongoing research.
All donations from the class will go toward the Foundation of Sarcoidosis Research to aid in sarcoidosis research and advocacy, helping bring greater understanding, better treatments, and hope for those living with the disease. https://www.stopsarcoidosis.org
Join us as we move with purpose—to honor a beautiful life and support those living with sarcoidosis.
