Baroque Dialogues
Violinists Amálie Dobšíková and Yue Qian (China/USA) perform together with Les Dragons Baroques in a program exploring the rich variety of Baroque chamber music. The concert presents a diverse repertoire including sonate sei solo, sonatas with basso continuo, and trio sonatas.
Amálie and Yue met during the American Bach Academy 2025 in San Francisco, where their shared enthusiasm for Baroque repertoire inspired this collaboration.
Yue Qian pursued her undergraduate and doctorate degrees at the University of Southern California, with graduate studies at the Juilliard School. Her mentors include Midori Goto, Ronald Copes, Sylvia Rosenberg, and Bing Wang. She has also appeared at international festivals such as the Verbier Festival, Music@Menlo, Taos School of Music Chamber Music Festival, and the Kneisel Hall Chamber Music Festival.
