City Sniffers Rat Hunt Club, a division of City Sniffers Dog Sports Training, will host Barn Hunt Fun Runs on May 10-11 at our facility in downtown Springfield, IL. On Sunday this event will be coupled with practice opportunities in Teams & Hurdles for those planning to attend or considering entering Barn Hunt Regionals.
Dogs DO NOT need to be registered with Barn Hunt to participate. This is a great opportunity to practice in a trial-like setting where Fun Test rules apply include allowed training in the ring with treats and/or toys, and allowed wearing of belly bands.
Event Schedule:
* Sat 5/10 - 2-5 pm
* Sun 5/11 - TBD, pending poll in FB Group
Classes Offered:
* Ring 1: Senior, Master, Teams
* Ring 2: Instinct, Novice, Open
* Ring 3: Line Drive - both courses available
* Multipurpose Room: Hurdles
Dogs may enter ANY level, multiple levels, and/or up to 3x per day at the same level.
Entries accepted on a first come/first served basis. While we are planning for at least 2 judges/rings running simultaneously, time slots are limited and any given ring may reach max capacity.
