Brig Stanford
--------------------
From childhood, Brig could recite all of the lyrics to her mother's favourite musicians. What started as admiration evolved into writing poems that would inevitably become songs. Since then, Brig has been in several prominent bands in the Cape Town music scene and released music produced by the late great Andy Lund and Chris Tait. Brig is also the co-founder of Glastonfurry, an all-day music festival in aid of the Cape of Good Hope SPCA. Glastonfurry is about to happen for the fourth time and is held at the iconic Armchair Theatre, bringing homes to furry friends and great music to all.
Vocally, Brig offers a beautiful contradiction. Raw power softened by sultry undertones lends itself perfectly to the themes she explores in her music. Explorations of feminism within a patriarchal society, friendships and the many colours and heartaches that come with romantic love. Whether it’s the falling in and out of love, the almost maybes, the casual affairs, the so-deep-in-you-cant-see-out-of-it, the toxic lovers, the addictive lovers, Brig leaves no stone unturned. More often than not, her lyrics go deeper than the typecasts and speak of intricacies that are honest and relatable.
“I have had a lot of heartache in my life, and writing songs not only helps me to psychoanalyse myself, but provides a vehicle for my romantic nature. It means being able to take a shitty situation or hard lesson and turn it into something beautiful. At heart, I am an artist, and all I really want to do is use my given talent to put something beautiful and meaningful back into the world. If just one person is inspired by that, I win”

Stanley Sibande
--------------------
Stanley Sibande is a South Africa based, Zambian born singer songwriter. He began his journey as a musician in his formative years when he would sing along with his sister to music by popular boy bands such as Nsync, Westlife and The Backstreet Boys. After finishing his studies in Zambia, he chose to leave his home Country and come down to South Africa in February of 2019 with nothing but his guitar and a dream to pursue music.
His style is an amalgamation of the somber soundscapes of Indie and rock coupled with the simplistic yet catchy melodic compositions of modern pop and the various African rhythms, melodies and stories he was raised around with influences such as The Weeknd, Seal, Oliver Mutukudzi, Ed Sheeran, W.I.T.C.H, P.K Chishala, Madosini, Novo Amor, e.t.c.
Having Just come off a successful Tour to the UK in 2024 and set to embark on another tour to Germany in August of 2025, Stanley is looking to expand his career and keep on building on the success that embracing his cultural roots has brought him.

The Rustle Crowes
--------------------
"The Rustle Crowes" love to bring great unknown or forgotten songs to an unsuspecting audience. We play an eclectic mix of our own renditions of the lesser known old and new folk and country songs. Between us, we have many years of music involvement in various groups and bands. We originally met through the Hout Bay Community Choir and get together to share our passion and play when we feel like it or when invited. This has resulted in various restaurant gigs, Quay 4, Ferrymans and sometimes, just for the love of it, busking. Dale has now made the foray into songwriting bringing together his natural musical talent and passion with gut wrenching lyrics.
Dale Lubbe is on lead vocals and guitar, Geoff Rudman on vocals and guitar and Bev Bownes on vocals and percussion.
