Bark Nation is a non-profit organization in Detroit, MI that primarily works with law enforcement to house dogs while they undergo court cases for cruelty, neglect, and dogfighting, operating a confidential state registered animal shelter called Pitness Protection. Bark Nation also operates two other pillars: shelter intervention, providing free spay/neuter to owned dogs of Detroit, and shelter enrichment: donating thousands of enrichment items to animal shelters across the Midwest yearly during "KONGSgiving".
