About this Event

Does Your Dog Have What It Takes to Bring Home the Gold?

Bark in the Park is free to attend and open to all dogs and their humans. Dogs are welcome to participate in activities just for fun.

However, to be eligible for official judging, medals, ribbons, and swag bags, you must register for a Dog Olympics Competitor Pass.

We’re calling all fast, focused, and fabulous dogs in Airdrie! This year’s Bark in the Park features our official Dog Olympics, and we want YOUR pup to compete for glory.

Whether you have a lightning-fast Border Collie, a determined Dachshund, or a fashion-forward Frenchie, there is an event for every personality.

2026 Dog Olympic Events
  • Fastest Dog – A straight sprint to the finish line.
  • High Jump – How high can they soar?
  • Sit, Stay & Leave It – The ultimate test of discipline and focus.
  • Fashion Show – Strut your stuff in your best costume.
  • Talent Show – Show off your dog’s most impressive trick.

Medals and Recognition

Only dogs registered with a Dog Olympics Competitor Pass are eligible to compete for medals, ribbons, and swag bags.

The Top 3 competitors in each event will receive:

  • Gold Medal
  • Silver Medal
  • Bronze Medal
  • Official Event Ribbon

Swag bags will be provided to the first 25 registered competitor dogs.

How to Enter

To compete for medals and prizes, purchase a Dog Olympics Competitor Pass.

Advance registration is strongly recommended to guarantee eligibility and secure one of the limited swag bags. Competitor passes may also be available for purchase on the day of the event, subject to availability.

Dogs attending with vendors or guests do not require a competitor pass unless entering the official competitions.

Fun Participation

Dogs can participate in activities for fun even without a competitor pass.

Only registered Dog Olympics Competitor Pass holders are eligible for official judging, medals, ribbons, and swag bags.
