Barefoot Walks/Grounding Series w/ We Explore Earth @ Shipley Nature Center

Barefoot Joel, a professional naturalist who has been barefooting since 2009, will serve as your mentor in this 3-part series that offers a step-by-step transitional process for you to enliven your senses from the ground up. As we gently wander around the magical wildlife sanctuary, we’ll pause frequently to observe our surroundings, allowing our feet to acclimate to a variety of surfaces. This is a rare opportunity to liberate your feet while more closely relating to the wildlife who live at the nature center. Offered in collaboration with We Explore Earth.

DIFFICULTY: Easy. Mix of sun and shade. Minimal elevation gain. Flat trail. Less than a mile round-trip.
