Greetings Unto the Populace of the Society of the Middle Ages. The Shire of Centropolis, invites you to come to Bardic Knights and Academic Days on Jan. 10, 2026. Where we will be engaging in the celebration of all things Bardic and Academic.
There will be classes, Holiday baking exchange, bardic performances and competition. We will be hosting a Lunch and feast. Bring your own Beverages, though there will be tea and coffee.

First Course: Hors d'oeuvre Tray: Breads, Chesses,Pickled Asparagus, and Sausage
Mainly store bought but the soft cheese and sausages are made by Asa Vedisdottir
Second Course: Apple and Parsnip Soup
Chicken stock, cream, shallots, leeks, parsnip, apple, juniper berry, cardamom, nutmeg, cinnamon
Thrid Course: Roast Chickenwith Vegetables and Sauce
Veggies are potato/turnip, carrot, and mushroom. Sauce- cherry, honey, mint, cider vinegar, clove,cinnamon
Fourth Course: Cheese, potato and onion pie.
Pie crust - flour,lard, water
Filling- Cheese, onoin,sour cream, potato, mustard, salt, pepper.
Mushrooms are Optional!!!!!!
Fifth Course: Gingerbread cake.
Butter, sugar, flour, molasses, cinnamon, ginger, clove, salt, orange, and apple.
