Join us for an evening of outdoor fun in the Science Garden at Thinktank, Birmingham Science Museum.From 6pm – 9pm you will have exclusive access to the Science Garden where you will be able to get ‘bodies on’ with exciting and inventive exhibits including an eight-metre-high clanging ‘Terminus’ machine and a giant human-sized hamster wheel that has a top speed of 30 revolutions per minute!
There will be a barbeque supper, so bring along your picnic blankets for your allocated area and settle in for an evening of fun. Our bar will be open all night for you to purchase drinks.
We will even have raft building - take part in the challenge of creating your very own mini raft with just a few supplies. Does it float? How many ping pong balls can you balance on your raft? How big can you make it?!

Your ticket includes access to the Science Garden at Thinktank Birmingham Science Museum, a choice of two mains and a side from the barbeque menu for adults, and one main a side and a carton of juice for children under 12. We will also include one raft building kit for your group.

Thinktank will feel a little different to usual, but we are sure you will enjoy your visit and we look forward to welcoming you. This event will be a lovely opportunity to visit the Science Garden and the Past Gallery but the remainder of Thinktank and the Shop will be closed.
Staff on site will be wearing PPE or working behind perspex screens, we have enhanced cleaning schedules in place, and we will be asking you to observe social distancing guidelines at all times whilst on site. We are only accepting card payments, to limit personal interaction, with contactless preferred.
Please remember to bring a face covering for use in our indoor spaces and please note that you are limited to purchasing a maximum of 6 tickets per transaction from the same household/support bubble.
