Saheed Akinwale is the Founder and CTO of Laminar, a low-code platform that empowers solutions teams to build bespoke integrations faster—transforming how companies approach the $500B system integration services market. Before Laminar, Saheed built Software for Love, later serving as a Software Engineering Advisor to help guide the platform’s continued growth.
With deep technical and leadership experience spanning startups and global enterprises, Saheed has led impactful engineering initiatives at Ford Motor Company, where he enhanced the driver experience through Android Auto integrations, and at Morgan Stanley, where his Java applications saved the firm over $30 million annually. His early work at Kinaxis included developing tools that reduced test creation effort by 90%, reflecting his passion for efficiency and scalable design.
Beyond his professional work, Saheed has built a lottery and a payment processor in Nigeria, blending entrepreneurship with social impact. In his free time, he enjoys experimenting with Raspberry Pi technology and building inventive hardware projects.
