About this Event
A bar lecture led by a professor with a PhD in Communication and Information, exploring how cultural differences shape dating, communication, and social interpretation.
Drawing on key cultural dimensions from communication research, including uncertainty avoidance, power distance, and masculine versus feminine cultural orientations, we’ll examine why people from different cultural backgrounds can interpret the same behaviors in very different ways.
Rather than offering simple dating “rules,” this talk invites you to rethink what you assume is “normal” in relationships, and how much of that is shaped by culture.
Casual, thought-provoking, and designed for anyone curious about love, communication, and connection across cultures.
