Interactive, Multimedia & Great Snacks!We are excited to present the Bar/Bat Mitzvah Project! A wonderful opportunity for 11-13 year old boys and girls to celebrate their coming of age milestone by engaging with children who have special needs. The program includes a combination of training sessions and volunteering at group social programs.
TRAINING
The group, led by Faige Chein, Program Director, will explore the various challenges that children with disabilities face, how to engage with the children in a positive way, the Jewish perspective on inclusion and the power they each have - as the next generation of young leaders - to mold the future through kindness and compassion. Training sessions take place right before Sunday Circle.
