At the heart of the experience is an unforgettable performance vignette: a fictional conversation between three iconic American voices—Elvis Presley, Aretha Franklin, and Beyoncé Knowles-Carter—reflecting on the families, neighborhoods, cultures, and histories that shaped who they became. Through their words, you'll feel firsthand why being truly heard matters, and you'll discover the invisible systems that shape every one of us.
Then, you'll practice. With a partner, in a safe and welcoming space, you'll try the same kind of listening for yourself—and walk away with a simple, powerful structure you can carry into every conversation that follows.
This isn't a lecture. It's a rehearsal for the conversations waiting for you at your dinner table, in your neighborhood, and in the communities you call home.
