Lets Get Sixy This bank holiday Cambridge live Music from
The Gravy Train
The band have been playing together for around 5 years and have already done some gigs supporting some big name acts including The Average White Band, Cleveland Watkiss and The Haggis Horns. The band also appeared on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire last year on the Sue Marchent show and played a live session. The band cut their teeth jamming with a host of visiting professional musicians and are heavily involved in the music scene in their hometown of Cambridge. Having enjoyed great success as a popular combo playing covers by John Scofield, Melvin Sparks, Grant Green and Soulive, they decided to write original music in this kind of vibe. Over the past 4 months they have been busying themselves in the studio working on their eponymous debut album. This album covers a wealth of diverse styles ranging from soulful ballads to dirty dance floor funk.
