BANG! 90s Club Anthems is set to bring Brisbane back to the dance floor with a celebration of the most danceable decade of all time. Taking place on Easter Sunday, the event promises wall-to-wall club classics and iconic party anthems, from the 90s, late 80s & early 00s expect tracks that packed dance floors all across Australia and all over the world.
The event runs from 7:00pm to midnight at at La La Land at the Prince Consort Hotel on Wickham Street, delivering a full-throttle night of nostalgia, hands-in-the-air moments, and packed dancefloors.
Headlining the night is Andy Van, one of Australia’s most influential DJs and producers. Andy Van has played at some of the world’s biggest dance events and festivals, including Summadayze, Gatecrasher, Stereosonic, One Love, Creamfields, Love Parade, and Ministry of Sound (UK), with international performances across Ibiza, Miami, London and Los Angeles.
As one half of Madison Avenue, Andy Van is responsible for two of the biggest club anthems of the era — Don’t Call Me Baby and Who The Hell Are You—achieving #1 and #2 chart positions in Australia and the UK and amassing over 100 million streams worldwide.
Supporting Andy Van on the night are DJ Kyle, DJ Darren James, and VJ Peter Brown, delivering a soundtrack built for full-floor energy and classic 90s club vibes.
More than just a party, BANG! is also a reunion — a chance to catch up with old friends you haven’t seen in years and relive the nights that defined a generation.
The event is presented by Peter Brown, the promoter behind some of Brisbane’s most memorable clubs and parties of the decade, including The Globe, Universal, Viva, and Infinity, and with Michael Watt, co-promoted iconic venues and events such as Grand Orbit, Soho, The Tube, Nasa, just to name a few.
