About this Event
Dear Friends,
We are delighted to invite you to a concert within the “Bandura for the Future” Initiative led by Ukrainian-American soprano and bandurist Teryn Kuzma under the auspices of the Berkeley-based nonprofit Ukraine Matters.
The bandura, one of Ukraine’s oldest and most beloved folk instruments, has long served as a symbol of resilience, unity, and cultural pride. In the hands of a gifted artist like Teryn, its hauntingly beautiful tones transcend borders and speak directly to the soul, offering a glimpse into the true heart of Ukraine.
This concert is part of a larger fundraising effort taking place in California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Arizona. All donations are tax-deductible, and the majority of proceeds directly benefit two extraordinary Ukrainian medical centers – Superhumans and UNBROKEN – that are transforming the lives of wounded Ukrainian Heroes. A portion of the funds will also help bring live performances to recovering soldiers in Ukraine, lifting spirits through the healing power of music.
We are looking forward to seeing you!
