Malmö’s electro-punk riot – THE GUILT are coming on tour again! Naked Rat Dance is a fearless mix of wound-up riot grrrl punk, exquisitely stupid synths, and hammering guitars. This is music that scratches every surface — and every nerve. Dancefloor anger management for the glitter-covered and genre-fluid.
“Playing live is our only functioning witchcraft practice. Shared experience is magic. But we’re also in a time where we need to organise — putting up shows, showing up, staying engaged. That’s spellwork too.”
Following the sweaty success of their 2023 cassette EP Note to Tape (featuring remixes by GHLOW, ABU NEIN, and 100BLUMEN), and the much-loved 2025 queer anthem Our Feline House — official song of Malmö Pride 2025 — The Guilt are ready to make 2026 their loudest year yet. The upcoming album, released via Icons Creating Evil Art, delivers garage goth ballads, power-punk bangers, queer anthems, and songs for “pretty basic witches.”
The Guilt are no strangers to German stages — or supermarkets.
“One of our main activities in Germany is food shopping. We’ll go out of our way for curry ketchup, mate, and vegan cevapi. We’ve had real talks about upgrading the tour van just to fit more snacks. We’re those kinds of people.”
“We also heard there’s a raccoon invasion somewhere in Germany. We know it’s problematic but honestly? If we met one, that might be the best day of our lives. Except maybe the time we played on Helgoland with the seals. That’s unbeatable.”
Monogam ist nicht nur ein Liebesmodell. Das Wiesbadener Musik-Duo MONOGAM hat nicht die Absicht über exklusive Beziehungen zu sprechen. Die Liebe zur Sache, die Liebe zum Leben, zur Kunst und zu einander ist ihr Antrieb. Mit ihren Texten werfen sie Fragen auf, geben Anleitung für ein leichteres Leben und dazu kann man die live gespielten Loops mit Synthesizern der 80er Jahre direkt in die Beine fließen lassen und tanzen. Denn egal wie hässlich man sich kleidet – alles ist schön!
Gegründet hat sich das Duo im August 2023. Vielleicht, weil es sein musste. Seit dem verfeinerten sich die Auftritte, das Publikum wächst und wenn sie nicht verloren sind – zwischen Arbeit, dem Leben und Liebesrausch – dann spielen sie für Euch!
