About this Event
Join artist Stephanie Mercado and Latinx with Plants for a FREE Bandana Painting Workshop!
Be part of a creative community experience connected to a new large-scale public mural for LA General Medical Center’s Restorative Care Village. The mural will celebrate healing plants, textile traditions, and the wisdom of community voices.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll paint your own wearable bandana inspired by the healing power of plants and the connection between nature, culture, and wellness.
All materials are provided—just bring your creativity and your stories. Participants are also invited to share their knowledge of healing plants and cultural traditions, helping shape the imagery that will inform the final mural design.
Come create, connect, and contribute to a meaningful public artwork rooted in collective care.
FREE • All materials provided • All are welcome
Photography photo release form is required from attendees.
This workshop is made possible by the Civic Art Division of the Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture.
