The Annual LWC Banana Matches in-house tournament is coming up soon!!!Thursday November 27th. Hammarskjold High School, in the main gym with full sized wrestling mats!
The tournament will be from 6pm to 8pm, with the younger wrestlers going first. All registered elementary aged LWC wrestler can compete in this.
All families and friends are invited to come watch and cheer their wrestlers on. We will have concessions available for purchase as well as some LWC swag. If your able to, a donation at the door would go a long way to helping the club cover the travel costs for coaches at out of town tournaments.
Registration and Weigh-ins will be at that weeks Monday and Tuesday's practices. Wrestling brackets will be made on Wednesday so they are ready for competion the following day.
This is a fun tournament, and serves as a warm up event for the wrestlers before they compete at the Ontario Winter Games Trials or the US Big Lake tournament.
We hope to see you all there, it will definitely be a good time!
