The Balwin Run Series is a four-race series that incorporates one of the oldest races on the South African race calendar, the Peninsula 21km and 42km, proudly presented by Celtic Harriers.The Marathon is one of South Africa's iconic races with a rich history going back nearly 60 years. Running from Cape Town to Simons Town, along the spectacular False Bay coastline, this flat and fast route is made for personal best times. The event is also an Abbott age group World Rankings qualifier.
The race also offers an incredible half-marathon starting in Bergvliet and heading to the same finish in Simons Town.
