About this Event
The Drammening is a new kind of whisky festival hosted by Drammers Club. It features four days of events (Feb. 26 to Mar. 1) featuring master distillers, founders and other leading figures in the whisky industry. This listing is for the event on Thursday, Feb. 26th, which will take place at Wally's Liquor at Resorts World from 5-7:30pm. Our guest speaker will be Lilliana Wood, brand ambassador for William Grant and Sons, including The Balvenie, Glenfiddich, Tullamore DEW and more! Here is the full festival lineup:
THURDSAY, Feb. 26th:
- 5pm - William Grant & Sons Tasting of The Balvenie, Glenfiddich, Tullamore DEW
- 8pm - Willett Tasting -w- Aaron Miller, the Western US Market Manager for the Willett Distillery
FRIDAY, FEB. 27th:
- 5pm - Frey Ranch -w- Co-Founder Colby Frey
- 8pm - GlenAllachie -w- Asst. Blender Ronan Currie
SATURDAY, FEB. 28th:
- 11am - Blind Tasting Awards Competition
- 2pm - Found North -w- Chris Riesbeck
- 5pm - Minden Mill Distillery Master Distiller Joseph O’Sullivan
- 8pm - M**der Mystery Costume Party with Duncan Taylor, Dama Fortuna Tequila and Shand Imports
SUNDAY, MAR. 1st:
- 12pm - Whisky & Waffles! Rare Independent Bottlings of Scotch, Presented by Howards Sacks
- 3pm - Rare Character -w- Co-Founder Pete Nevenglosky
- 6pm - Closing Awards Dinner at the Delmonico’s restaurant at The Venetian.
There will be informal events around this to go to great bars like Bar Ginza, Golden Tiki and the allmighty Sand Dollar Lounge etc. before and after this schedule of events. Drammers Club also schedules regular events around the US, including this month in Las Vegas on Feb. 3rd (with Proof & Wood founder Dave Schmier) and on Feb. 21st (with Glasgow Distillery, in town from Scotland).
