Formed in 1995 to bring Western Swing to the nation’s capital, the Oklahoma Twisters are true specialists in music for movers and shakers. Their shows are tailor-made for a social dance crowd, featuring a lively mix of Texas two-steps, swing, waltzes, and polkas, delivered by an all-star lineup of seasoned musicians with deep roots in swing, jazz, country, and Americana.
With soaring fiddle, classic steel guitar, rock-solid rhythm, and effortless swing, the Twisters create an atmosphere that’s welcoming, upbeat, and irresistibly fun — the kind of night where strangers become dance partners and the floor stays full from the first note to last call.
